Boom Times for Industrial Space

When it comes to commercial real estate, skyscrapers and shopping malls tend to attract the most attention. But lately in metro Denver, industrial real estate is stealing the show.

With a 1 million-square-foot Inc. facility on the way, a planned J.M. Smucker Co. food plant in Longmont that could reach a total investment of $340 million, and a 169-acre land buy by Wal-Mart Stores Inc. in an area zoned for industrial use, this no-nonsense segment of the commercial real estate market can’t be ignored.
